　　配備自動(dòng)變速器的車輛在等候經(jīng)過信號(hào)或堵車時(shí)，一些駕駛員常將換擋桿堅(jiān)持在D擋，同時(shí)踩下制動(dòng)踏板，若時(shí)間很短，這樣做是允許的。但若停車時(shí)間長較好換入N擋，并拉緊駐車制動(dòng)。由于換擋桿在D擋時(shí)，自動(dòng)變速器汽車普通有微小的前移，若長時(shí)間踩住制動(dòng)踏板，等于強(qiáng)行遏止這種前移，使得變速器油溫升高，油液容易蛻變，特別在空調(diào)系統(tǒng)工作時(shí)，發(fā)起機(jī)怠速較高的狀況下更為不利。
